Expertise: Prof. Genta’s main research line deals with tailored formulations of targeted smart nanocarriers (antibody-conjugated and/or specific biopolymers) for the tunable and selective delivery of synthetic drugs and macromolecules (i.e. proteins, RNAs, mDNAs) as well as diagnostics/contrast agents. Great expertise on developing GMP-oriented microfluidics-based techniques and apparatus for the manufacturing of lipidic and polymeric nanocarriers.

Role in the consortium: Nano-to-Heart coordinator will participate with her research group in research activities dealing with the designing, development and manufacturing of NPs for selective delivering. She will coordinate the exploitation, communication and dissemination of the project’s.
