Nano-to-Heart Preliminary Data Presented at 5th European Conference on Pharmaceutics in Porto
We are pleased to announce that preliminary data from the Nano-to-Heart project were presented at the 5th European Conference on Pharmaceutics, held in Porto, Portugal, from March 24-25, 2025.
The European Conferences on Pharmaceutics are held every two years. They are jointly organized by the APGI (“International Society of Drug Delivery Sciences and Technology“), APV (“International Association for Pharmaceutical Technology“) and SITELF (“Italian Society of Pharmaceutical Technology and Legislation and Related Disciplines”).
This year's conference, themed "Innovative dosage forms and advanced technologies for modern therapeutics," provided an excellent platform to showcase our research to a diverse audience. Participants came from industry, academia, and young scientists, including PhD students and postdocs.
Enrica Chiesa from the University of Pavia presented a poster titled: "Polysaccharides Based Nanocarriers To Prevent The Mechano-dependent Pro-fibrotic Activation Of Human Cardiac Fibroblasts In Heart Failure."
Authors: Enrica Chiesa, Gloria Garoffolo, Maurizio Pesce, Ida Genta.
The presentation was well-received, and we are excited to share these promising results with the scientific community.
We would like to thank the conference organizers and all attendees for their interest in our work.
Stay tuned for further updates on the Nano-to-Heart project!
